OK, so the macaroni and cheese as vegetable story was in my last post, but I still think it’s funny and endearing and altogether unusual. I personally think the restaurant was so busy that they ran out of peas and carrots and maybe broccoli and had to substitute it with a side. Yep, that makes sense to me. Did I ever tell you that I was once in the restaurant business myself?

Are you a red-eye aficionado?
I left the World Union for Progressive Judaism Biennial after participating with 4 other women to paint several tallises created by silk tallit designer Larraine Larri of House of Rose www.houseof rose.com.au. These beautiful works of art will be given to emerging Jewish communities around the world!
The reason I mention red-eye is that I flew a flight for the first time. Somehow I lost a day. Or a night. I’m still not sure.
